Orangery Staking and Mining Incentives

Entry Threshold for Miners: In the Orangery network, prospective miners are required to stake a portion of the total Orangery token supply to participate in mining activities. This entry barrier is set at 0.08% of Orangery's total circulating supply, designed to commit miners to the network's integrity and performance. However, to encourage early participation and network growth, this staking requirement is waived until the circulating supply reaches a threshold of 100,000 ORAN tokens, allowing miners to join without initial staking.

Slashing Mechanism for Quality Assurance: Orangery implements a slashing mechanism to maintain high standards of task solutions provided by miners. Miners found to submit invalid or non-reproducible solutions are subject to slashing, where a portion of their staked tokens is forfeited. This punitive measure serves to deter malicious or careless behavior, ensuring that miners are motivated to contribute only valid and accurate solutions. The slashed tokens are then redistributed among the remaining miners as a reward for upholding the network's quality standards, fostering a community of dedicated and reliable participants.

This staking and slashing framework underpins Orangery's commitment to a decentralized, secure, and efficient network, where miners play a crucial role in sustaining the ecosystem's overall health and reliability.
